We know how much harder it is for regional young people to get to opportunities such as YACtivate!, so we are providing up to $500 per regional Youth Advisory Group to support attendance. This won’t cover all of the costs of getting your young people to this event, but it can be used to supplement funding.
The $500 can be used for transport, food, accommodation, staff time or anything else that will support regional attendance. The funding does not need to be acquitted. The $500 is for your youth advisory group (not per person).
We have up to eight bursaries and these will be allocated on a first comes basis. Once we have checked your application, if your YAG is eligible, then the funding will be paid once you have booked places for your young people and upon invoice.
