One of the best parts of YACtivate is young people learning from each other. There are over 80 Youth Advisory Groups (YAGs) around the State (maybe more), and all different groups have amazing things to share! Every group has also faced challenges that they have overcome.
YACtivate 2025 is going to include two afternoon breakout sessions where YAG’s from around the State can share what they do. We want YAGs to share something unique or innovative that another group could learn from, get inspired by or replicate.
We know that every has different levels of confidence with public speaking, so there are a range of ways you can present. Including creating a poster to be viewed in the breaks, hosting a stall, speaking to a single slide for a few minutes or presenting a longer session.
Applications to present or share at YACtivate 2025 are open until Thursday 8th May. We will then let you know by Friday 16th May if you have been successful. We will then work with you to get ‘presentation ready’ in time for the event.
* Note, one or more YAG members will need to have booked tickets to attend the event by the 8th May to be considered.
